1. Commitment to Privacy

At TIPS Vision AI, preserving patient privacy and securing medical data is our highest priority. While we operate primarily in Sudan, we adhere to international best practices for data protection, including principles aligned with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act).

2. Data Handling Practices

We implement strict measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of all processed data:

• Encryption: All data is encrypted both in transit (using TLS/SSL) and at rest (using AES-256) within our secure database infrastructure.
• Access Control: Access to sensitive data is strictly limited to authorized personnel and is governed by Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Anonymization: Where possible, prescription data is processed in a manner that de-identifies patient information before being used for AI model improvement.

3. AI Processing

Our AI models utilize Google Gemini technology to analyze prescription images. Data sent to our AI processors is transient and is not used to train external public models without explicit consent.

4. User Responsibilities

Medical professionals using TIPS Vision AI are responsible for obtaining necessary patient consent before uploading prescription images containing personally identifiable information (PII).
